Women’s Ministry

All women of the congregation are invited to participate: in commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, to the mission of the church and through the enabling of the Holy Spirit.  American Baptist Ministries provide opportunities for each woman to: become and develop as God’s person, build God’s faith community and serve God’s world.  There are three circles.  Some of their activities are learning of special interest missionaries (national and international) as well as local ministries, prayer, studying, supplying needs, fellowship and caring.  There are activities together as announced.
 
Rebecca Circle – meets on the second Thursday during the day at a time and place chosen by the assigned hostess.  A favorite part of their togetherness is sharing something they each have read and treasured.
 
Link Circle – meets on the second Thursday at 7:00 pm to link the generations together through prayer, study and to provide encouragement.
 
Seekers Circle – meets on the third Thursday at 7:00 pm usually at 505 S. Adams.  This circle focuses on family life, learning together and praying.  They also plan an annual daytime trip for all the women of the church.
